VINTAGE MOHAIR LAMB SOFT TOY. STRAW FILLED.VERY SWEET. Condition is “Used”. This cute vintage lamb is made from mohair and stands 9 from head to feet.He dates to around the 1930/40s according to a restorer I met at a doll fair. He has black and orange glass eyes and a stitched nose and mouth. His pale green ribbon also helps with dating him and may be original. He has some repaired stitching over the top of his left eye. This is very skilfully done. His fur is worn in places but there are no real bald patches other than around the repaired eye. His ears are floppy and lie back which gives him a cute expression. He well stuffed With straw and will stand with a bit of help.The lambs fur is a very pale cream but please be aware he is old and there is some discolouration.He measures 9 tall from nose to rump and has a 4 tail.
I am very fond of him but I need to downsize my collection as Im running out of space. please ask if you have any questions.
