unconsidered triflesLovely vintage teddy bearc 15″ tallThe label has been removed from this bear- many decades ago. Remains of the woven label can be seen at the nape of its neck.It feels to me that it’s from the 1950s- has the same expression as my own bear from that era. It has no joints and is soft and floppy- designed to sit- interestingly the plush fur around the sitting bits is quite copious and soft- in contrast to the paws (NOT velvet) which show wear- particilarly its let paw (presumably used by owner for stroking!) Its snout’s stuffing isn’t firm and there is again wear to the fiur, but the embroidered nose and mouth are extant, as are the golden eyes. There is a mark on the left ear.The bear really feels and look British to me- but haven’t been able to trace it.Lovely bright gold colour.Needs a loving home!Am also selling a plush cat from same ra and home in a separate listing.Selling more vintage textiles- and other unconsidered trifles- please look at my shop. Lovely vintage teddy bear
c 15″ tall
The label has been removed from this bear- many decades ago. Remains of the woven label can be seen at the nape of its neck.
It feels to me that it’s from the 1950s- has the same expression as my own bear from that era.
