Vintage Antique Old Tiny Deans Childsplay Teddy Bear.”Nutmeg” is a vintage teddy bear who stands at just over 9 inches tall. But what he lacks in height, he makes up for in character ! He proudly bears his “Deans Childsplay Toys” label on his back seam which dates him to being born between the late 1950s to early 60s.Nutmeg is in very good condition considering his age. He is filled with wood wool to his head and body, and his arms and legs are firmly filled with a softer medium. His paws are in excellent condition and a lovely chocolate brown colour. He has been gently loved over his years and retains most of his plush. There are some areas of plush loss and rifting at the seams, especially at the back of his legs and back of head. Nutmeg has his original brown and black plastic eyes and stitched features . He has a nice pointed snout which is a lighter plush.He is fully jointed with good joint connections.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell…Please take a look at the photos, as they also form part of the description.I post Monday – Friday as promptly as possible.
