This lovely vintage teddy bear was made during the 1930’s and I think he was made by the Germany company Hermann. He measures approximately 15″ in height.
He is fully jointed – joints are very slightly loose – and he is made from a sparse short pile gold coloured mohair. He is all original and is filled with a wood wool filling throughout and has a non working squeaker in his back.
He still has his original clear ears with painted backs which are reddish in colour and painted black pupils. He has his original black stitched nose and mouth.
He has brown cloth pads and just has balding to the front of his right leg.
He is a lovely old teddy bear of 80 years plus – photos do not do him justice!!
