A lovely vintage Alpha Farnell Scottie dog pyjamas/nightie caseHe is made in black frosted mohair, has a jointed neck, original glass eyes and nose stitching. His red satin lined case is in good order.Farnell introduced these charming animal nightie cases in 1928 and proved a bestseller. They were initially made in 10 designs ranging from KC Spaniels, Peke-Wu, Kittikins and Pom. They were all made in quality mohair and many more designs were added over the years until the 1960s.
Scottie is clean and fresh with no odours and comes from a smoke/pet free home (except for the stuffed variety!!)
