This beautiful 24″ golden mohair antique Chad Valley teddy bear has the most wonderful, really gentle expression to his face.
Some Chad teddy bears dating from this era can be a bit stern, even grumpy looking, but not this boy. He is simply adorable.
Teddy is filled with kapok and wood-wool, and although he is big bear, he is quite light – very easy to hug!His shape is also very appealing, with a pronounced hump to his back, and elongated body. His shaved snout has the original, typical Chad nose stitching. He is and old teddy bear, so not without a few imperfections, so please take time to visit all of the photographs as these are the most helpful part of the item description, but please read the written condition report too.
