on sale is a vintage teddy bear from merrythought or poss chad valley,
it has no label but was told the previous owner was sure was a merrythought,,,i still feel looks like an early chad valley..but you pros will decide,,
it certainly if a wonderful bear of big age c 1930s ,,,
it still is in perfect condition stuctually but 1 arm has its packing a little compressed,,,,
it is jointed limbs which all work freely ,,it is straw filled with hand stiched paws and pads,,,,nose and mouth again hand stiched,with glass eyes,,
it stands fully erect aprox 26 inches,
its mohair is rather worn in places but has no baer or ripped areas,,
this is a very valuable and very rare bear,given its size,,,
