This wonderful extremely rare “Felix” style cat was made during the 1920s I believe by the British company Chad Valley.
He is filled with wood wool throughout and has a non working squeaker in his side.
He is made from a very short pile black mohair and is all original.
He has clear eyes with black pupil painted on the backs, typical of era and has a cream mohair face – original nose is missing, but does still have original black stitched mouth with remains of pink felt tongue.
He has a jointed neck with two cream mohair feet with remains of black stitched claws.
He measures approximately 10″ in height and is in a sitting position.
His rear paw pads are covered in black velvet material.
Wonderful condition for age and a very rare item!!
