Very Rare Large 1920 Chad Valley Antique Vintage Old Teddy Bear. Made from a curly golden coloured mohair.
Teddy is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing and I have just discovered his working squeaker in his tummy!!! Teddy has a long muzzle, with unusual original brown stitched nose and mouth. He also maintains his original brown stitched claws.
Please see photos for condition, several areas of mohair loss. Teddy needs a bit of a clean, have left teddy as he came to me.
In lovely condition considering age of teddy, I have never seen another like this one, he is a large old chad valley teddy measuring approx. 24/61cm in height.
