Very old Teddy Bear believed Japanese or American in origin, approx 18 inches high. Very sparse covering of yellow orange bristle mohair. Long body thin stick arms and legs very crudely jointed with wire. Firm wood wool stuffing. Bought in very dilapidated condition and sympathetically restored. All jointing original button and wire , Paw pads replaced darning to body. Sadly he only had one ear, so split in 2 to create original colour but backed in felt , ears are sliced in very characteristic of Japanese bears and very rare.
Eye replaced with period eyes there is also a non working squeaker in his tummy. Very beautiful bear after his ordeal needs a loving home
