Tommy is an old Merrythought who dates to the 40’s – he retains his Hygienic Toys label on his foot. He is a tad over 13 inches tall, fully jointed & largely kapok stuffed with woodwool to his muzzle – he has a non-working squeaker. His pads are the original linen & he retains a fair covering of mohair – about 60%. He has had some restoration over the years – his nose & mouth stitching have been re-done & he has replacement eyes – it also looks as though some work has been done on his joints (rest assured they all turn perfectly). He is a strong old bear who would look fabulous in a sailor suit – he has that look about him – but for now he will come with his bell. A lovely old chap in need of a home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I will happily ship overseas but anything over 40 must be tracked & insured xxx
Due to this dreadful virus my post office is very unpredictable so I may use Hermes tracked. I will ship overseas and will of course use the post office for that shipping but it may take me a little longer to get around to it (we are talking a few days longer – not weeks!) Stay safe everyone xxx
