Charlie is a very sweet little Merrythought – just 12 inches tall. He is fully jointed and a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker. His pads are original linen and he has his original foot label and celluloid button. His nose and mouth have been restitched – he has a very cheekly little smile – and he has old replacement eyes. As you can see he has lost a lot of mohair and has a stain to his tummy but his little knitted set covers this – he looks so sweet. A dear little bear in quite an unusual size for an old Merrythought looking for a home – & lots of kisses xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
