Timo | early 1900’s German (possibly American) Teddy Bear
What a lovely old boy this ted is! Introducing Timo – known as Timmy to his hug chums!
He dates to the early 1900’s and is a beautifully loved old German (possibly American) teddy bear. He may be a little worn, but what he has is original … he has had a busy life nuzzling noses and shaking paws, but has retained his original boot button eyes!
He measures around 14.5inches tall, is fully jointed, and stuffed with woodwool. Timmy has a really interesting shape to him with a humped back, and pointy upturned snout. He has a very firm wide old inactive growler/squeaker in his tum which is nice as it adds to his weight – he really is a distinctive ted!
I imagine at some point he was someone favourite bear as he has his very own outfit! He arrived with his woolly hat sewn, and very(!) old pinned on .. but i have carefully undone this for his shoot – however Timmy is most insistent on keeping his outfit with him!
As happens with so many old bears he’s been left behind. He’s a real joy, and hopes to find that special someone very soon who can love him just as he is!
He can be seen here with his fellow Teddy friends (all except his Jopi friend Hugo have sold prior to eBay listing).
