Delightful collection of three venerable old teddy bears. Highlight of the collection is an Edwardian era straw filled bear on wheels believed to be by the celebrated German maker Stieff c.1910. Articulated head retaining the original black button eyes and traces of the stitched nose and whiskers. In unusual silver grey fur with obvious distress, missing his ears, one wheel and with a nasty burn on his rump.
The two other bears both have articulated heads and limbs and appear to have had growl mechanisms in their chests (no longer working).
