~ Teddy Tuck -Large 1930’s Merrythought Bear – Old Antique English Teddy w/ Label
This is Teddy Tuck! He’s a HUGE 27inch English Teddy Bear! He was made in the 1930’s by Merrythought. He’s fully jointed and mainly weightily stuffed with kapok. He’s in a lovely condition, nice and furry and oh so cuddly! Teddy Tuck has a lovely seam down his head, retains his original glass eyes, original facial and claw stitching, and original pads. He also has an excellent working squeaker and label to his foot! Teddy Tuck comes dressed in his own waistcoat with his favourite badge with his initial on – he’s very proud of it!
He’s a very appealing Merrythought bear, and a bear with a real feel of character who would become a quick favourite in a hug! I’m hoping my photographs do him justice but I can only vouch for how adorable he is!!! He’s shown here with his friend Basil the Farnell who’s now sold, and Teddy Tuck hopes for the same happy fortune.
