This beautiful big 21″ golden mohair antique Chad Valley teddy bear is made from good quality, long curly light golden mohair, although there are patchy places of mohair loss to his feet.He has an Aerolite Chad Valley button in his ear and there might be a label under the replacement pads.
Teddy is filled with kapok and wood-wool, so although he is quite a big bear, he is not too heavy and is very easy to hug!His cuddly shape is typical of the chunky, chubby teddy bears of this era, with a slightly floppy head – the stuffing has ‘shifted’ a bit, should be easy to rectify. His shaved snout has what I think is original, typical Chad nose stitching. His eyes are a bit small for him, so are probably replacements.He is clearly an old teddy bear and is not without some minor imperfections, so please take time to visit all of the photographs as these are the most helpful part of the item description, but please do read the written condition report too.
