A lovely 1930s style replica Alpha-Farnell by Merrythought – a limited edition number 474 of 500.
He is a large size – 24 / 25 inches in height – with hump to upper back and fully working growler.
There is the woven label “MADE IN ENGLAND BY ALPHA-FARNELL” to the right felt pad and the limited edition label to the left side.
He has his original brown satin ribbon, clear and black plastic safety eyes, black stitched nose and inverted Y shape mouth and stitching to the paws.
The condition is very good, near mint, clean, never been played with and displayed behind glass since new.
My own since new and always very carefully looked after.
