A beautiful rare Merrythought London gold oak leaf bear with growler.Not a limited edition but not many made and this size is particularly hard to find and he has the longer length of mohair. These bears are featured in the book “More Magic of Merrythought” by Pat Rush – a wonderful reference book.
He is an extra large size – 26 inches in height – with fully working growler.
There is the woven Merrythought label.
He has his original ribbon, plastic safety eyes, black stitched nose and inverted Y shape mouth.
The condition is very good, near mint, clean, never been played with and displayed behind glass since new.
My own since new and always very carefully looked after in a smoke-free home.
