Antique Teddy Bear Possibly a Steiff ****Collectible Teddy Bear****
We are not experts on teddy bears! This one clearly has some age to it and has been well loved and consequently damaged over the years. As shown in the photographs there are a few areas of wear and repairs, most done very poorly, the fur has mostly come out and one of the plastic eyes is damaged.It appears to have the remnants of a metal tag in the left ear which is why we think it might be Steiff but that really is speculation, we are not making any assertions about that.He has what seem to be canvas pads to all four paws, a sew on nose and mouth but no claws on hands or feet. He is fully articulated the arms and legs turn 360 degrees as does the head.
