Dan is an unidentified old kapok filled mohair jointed bear dating to the 1930s or 40s. He is 16″ tall with missing eyes, the remains of a hand stitched nose and peculiar rubbery ears inners and foot and paw pads, which appear to be original. He has had major surgery to his tummy and also his neck, which used to be jointed but is now fixed, see pics. He has also had a sympathetic and effective repair to the top of his right arm, see pic. He is quite charming in his own way. He has better mohair coverage to his back than to his front and this is where you can see the beautiful bright golden colour that he was. He is fresh and clean smelling and would make a great addition to any old bear collection.
