Lovely vintage quite rare to find of this smallest size of 3″ only – Steiff Tom Cat,
dating from 1950s
made of black velvet with mohair tail,
feels to be hard stuffed with kapok throughout the body and head,
unjointed, in permanent standing position, with wires in limbs,
has got original clear and black glass eyes with green backs,red thread stitched nose and mouth,
whiskers,’bushy’ tail.
Wears original silk ribbon.
Tom Cat is approx. 3″ (8 cm) tall (without tail).
Condition – item is in good vintage condition with slight general wear, no balding patches; button missing.
