“Ear-L” | c1920’s German Bear
This is “Ear-L” – he’s a really sweet, cared for Teddy bear made in Germany in the 1920’s. Earl has gained his name due to his fabulous ears! At some point Earl lost his ears, but worry not, a brilliant mummy was on hand to make sure he could still here his little person and she made him some fantastic chenille ears, and even went to the effort to stuff them! I think these have been with Earl quite some time.
Earl measures 24 inches tall, is fully jointed, stuffed with woodwool with a big clunky old inactive growler. He’s covered saffron coloured mohair with original glass eyes! Earl also comes with his own pair of glasses -maybe they were his old owners?! .. they fit him so well, clearly this is why they have stayed with him!
What a character! I really hope someone sees him, and finds him as joyful to look at as i do! He’s an amusing lovely bear.
