I cannot be 100% certain, but I think that this lovely antique novelty chicken egg warmer is by Steiff.
For reference, I found a similar one (shown in a black and white photograph) in the 1892 1943 Steiff Sortiment on page 531. My chick is made from yellow velvet and has similar faded airbrush detail wings, with tiny glass eyes, and red felt ‘comb’ head. The chick is silk lined and is slightly ‘padded’ with what looks to be sawdust.He is not 100% perfect, so please check all of the images as these are the most helpful part of the item description, but please read the written condition report too.Please note that this auction is for 1 chick only.
