This is an early Steiff egg cozy / warmer in the shape of a rooster / chicken head, made of red and white wool felt with a glass bead eye.
There is no longer a button present.
There is some discolouration to the felt, but no holes.
It measures 5 inches high to the top of the comb.
A nice little antique item, dating to c1912.
