Lovely old teddy bear made by Merrythought during the 1930s which is in lovely condition for age.
Made from gold coloured mohair, is fully jointed – all joints nice and tight – and stuffed with mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing. He has a non working squeaker in his tummy. He does have quite a lot off hair loss especially to front of body – has approximately 50% of mohair remaining.
He has brown/black glass eyes with a black stitched nose and mouth on a shaved muzzle.
He has the remains of his black claws (original webbed stitching can be seen on left paw) onto cloth pads – some holes and wear – please see photos. He has cardboard inserts in his feet pads – again see photos for condition.
He measures approximately 16″ in height.
