Poppy is a lovely old English bear dating to the 40’s – she is 17 inches tall, fully jointed and largely straw stuffed (limbs and head), softer stuffed to the main body. Her pads have been neatly replaced some time ago and she is threadbare but she has the prettiest face – she is very Chad like with a bit of Merrythought thrown in – she has the face and larger ears of an early Merrythought but other aspects aren’t quite right so it’s difficult to place her exactly. She will come as pictured in her pretty dress and is looking for her forever home – as will all of my bears she is not perfect but she is full of character so take a good look at the pictures before buying xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
