Pansy – Sweet Chiltern Hugmee Antique Mohair English Teddy Bear in vintage dress
This delightful little flower is Pansy! She is an English Ted made by Chiltern in the 1930’s. She stands 15 inches tall and is stuffed with woodwool and kapok. One leg has been stitched in place but still bends, and this hasn’t stopped her enjoying life. The rest of her body is fully jointed. She has antique glass eyes, original nose and mouth stitching. She has superb condition original cotton pads with no holes and retains full stitching on 3 limbs.
She is covered in blonde mohair, and plans to relocate to her new abode in her vintage sunday wear. She’s a really sweet little bear and certainly pretties up a shelf! She is pictured here messing around in the garden with her sister Poppy who is also for sale.
If you’re after that delicate little bear, dressed in a pretty outfit with antique charm – Pansy is your teddygirl. x
