This is Waffle, a darling old 1950s bear.made by reputable English bear maker Chiltern, made for their Hugmee design range. He is 16″ tall with glass eyes, a plastic doggie nose, stitched mouth and worn rexine paw and foot pads. He has a very gentle and smiley look to him.
His head joint is very wobbly but secure, and does not affect how nicely he displays. He has no rips or tears to his fabric, retains about 60% of his thinning mohair. He has a non working growler in his tummy and is in clean and pleasant smelling condition. He would make a very interesting addition to any old bear or specifically Chiltern collection.
