Original rare Farnell 1920s Felix the Cat collectible animation character.He is made from mohair, has a wire frame and wood shavings as a filling. He is in wonderful condition for his age with plenty of his mohair remaining.He has long limbs and tail and has a toothy smile. Head to toe he measures approximately 13.He would be an excellent addition to someones collection.Felix was one of the first characters to by drawn then made into silent movie animation by Australian cartoonist Pat Sullivan. His character was then made in soft toys by English manufacturers such as J.K. Farnell of London and Deans Rag company.Please note the display stand is not included in the sale.Please ask any questions.
