~ Felix | RARE 1920’s Felix the Cat
This is a Felix the cat, made in the 1920’s most likely by Farnell. Felix was created due to the popularity of the cartoon character! These cats are quite rare to come across, likely because they are rather small, and were often worn out in years gone by or lost!He measures around 7.5 inches, is stuffed with woodwool, with a jointed head, and wired legs and tail. At some point his ears have been replaced, however he still retains his original mouth stitching and boot button eyes. I do find these almost a century old toys fascinating, and they deserve a special place in a happy hug! He’s pictured here with her other friends who are also looking for a new home.
