Old Vintage Teddy Bear Shabby Vintage Teddy Bear.Pookie is a sweet old fellow dating from the 1960s. He is a Tinka – Bell toy made of sheepskin, and made in England and proudly sports his label on his foot.He is four way jointed with a fixed head , has Amber and black plastic eyes and a crudely replaced nose which originally would have been made of leather, but was probably made by a parent ! He has significant age related bald patches and wear and tear with his leather showing through on his left shoulder and right arm, and front left ear as well as as small split to the top of his back left leg. Pookie stands at about 11 inches tall.This bear is not intended to be used as a toy as he does not have the necessary safety features of a modern teddy bear and therefore is suitable only as a collectors item.
