This is Cyril – an old teddy bear dating from around 1930s/40s not certain of the date. I am no teddy bear expert. He has a rather flat shaped face and he has moveable arms and legs. There are no makers marks.
Cyril has a cute face with a stub nose which is sewn in black thread. He has brown eyes with black centres. Both arms and both legs can be moved and the head also swivels around on what feels like a metal plate.
He is filled with straw I think.
There are a number minor faults please read the condition report above. Some of the golden mohair fabric is worn and rubbed away in places from years of being loved and the sewn nose is damaged. The leather paws are worn and badly rubbed.
He stands 23 inches tall.
A cute teddy bear – which is clean with only minor wear. The bear will be packed carefully in a box to ensure he arrives in as described condition.
