Bertie-Blue – Chiltern Hugmee Antique Old Mohair English Teddy Bear in clothes
This delightful little chap is Bertie-Blue! He is an English Ted made by Chiltern in the 1930’s. He stands 15 inches tall and is stuffed with woodwool and kapok. One leg has been stitched in place but still bends and one arm is a little stiff , but this hasn’t stopped him enjoying life. The rest of his body is fully jointed. He has antique glass eyes, original nose and mouth stitching.
He has superb condition original cotton pads with no holes and retains full stitching on 3 limbs.
He is covered in blonde mohair, and plans to relocate to his new abode in his snuggly knitted dungarees. He’s a cute bear who is just looking for someone to give him some love and space in their happy home.
He’s pictured here with his teddy friends Rosalea, Baby Pramley and Just Colin who are also looking for new homes.
If you’re after that gentle little bear, dressed in a cosy relaxed snuggle outfit – Bertie-Blue is your Chappy. x
