Old Vintage Antique Teddy Bear. Vintage Tiny 9 Inch Teddy Bear.Cyril is a vintage tatty old teddy bear who stands at just over 9 inches tall. But what he lacks in height, he makes up for in character ! He is filled with wood wool and a softer filling throughout. His left arm has quite loose filling in it but it still holds it’s shape. His paws are of a cotton twill type material and have age related marks and stains. He has three stitched claws at the top paws but is missing some claws on the bottom. His fur is a cinnamon coloured cotton plush.As noted in the sellers notes, he is ; Considerably love worn with sparse patchy plush coverage. Has visible seams, a fairly loose head joint , loose filling , stained paws. May have had repairs. Is old and tatty generally.Cyril has his original tiny amber and black glass eyes . The backs look to have been painted, but the colour has faded or come off over the years. He has a nice pointed snout which is bald and has a seam rift of plush at the side. He is fully jointed with good joint connections, but his head has loosened somewhat with age and tends to tilt to the side a bit, giving him a quizzical look .There looks to be some stitching done to his ears and there is a threadbare area on the back of his right arm of about a centimetre. Cyril has a generally tatty appearance overall, and frankly has seen better days.All these features are fairly typical of an old vintage bear with a story to tell…Please take a look at the photos, as they also form part of the description.I post Monday – Friday as promptly as possible.
