An adorable 9 inch rare size c1940s CHILTERN Teddy bear. Ted has a good 90/95% quality longer length mohair coverage, original eyes and an enduring little face which is exquisite. He is 5 way jointed but his head is limited in turning and there is the remains of an old ribbon to the back of his neck. His other 4 joints are also stiff. I think the top stitching of his nose stitching is missing over the years. Please view all of his photos as they show his condition clearly. There is a little mohair loss to the bottom of rear lower legend round nose which could be as he was originally from new. He has velvet pads. He is an adorable little fellow and will arrive in his sweater and hat to keep him warm. From a clean and smoke free home. Thank you!
