Welcome to my Auction for a Vintage 1953 Chiltern Teddy Bear
This bear has been in our family for 64 years, he was purchased in Manchester as a Christening present for my older brother in 1953.
He has travelled the world with us & has been much loved by us all.
He stands 21″ in height , with articulated legs & arms
His fur is mohair & his pads are velvet.
As with most senior citizens, he has suffered some slight hair loss over the years, most notably around his nose. He is inact otherwise, with no rips or tears, original amber glass eyes as well as original black stitching on his nose & feet.
I would assess his condition as ‘very good’ for his age – but please refer to the detailed pictures to draw your own conclusions, they form an integral part of the written description.
He will be sent fully insured via a tracked & signed for method, to ensure safe delivery to you.
