Sweet pair of vintage pals 1950’s soft toys teddy bear & lamb.
Ted stands at 11″ tall and is similar to the Steiff ‘Zotty’ bears but I think he was possibly made by Hermann? although he no longer has any labels. He is five ways jointed and he appears to be stuffed with wood wool but it has broken down in his body and limbs and he has a very schlumpy posture. Apart from his stuffing breaking down he is in pretty good condition with a very good coverage of his (slightly grubby) mohair plush and there are no holes in his felt paw pads and all his original features still intact.
Little lamb is an unjointed pram toy with a soft stuffing and is very schlumpy like his teddy friend In fact their favourite pastime is just lolling around together as you can see from the photos. He also has a very good coverage of his cream white mohair plush with his original blue glass eyes and a red stitch for his nose and mouth and apart from also being very slightly grubby little lamb is also in good condition.
