This handsome looking Chiltern bear dates to circa 1940’s and is 20″ tall
and stuffed with kapok in his body and wood wool in his head. He has been
loved but he is still in good condition with all his original features intact and
a good 85% coverage of his dark golden mohair with some overall thinning
and just a couple of small bare patches and his plush is clean and soft.
His dark rexine pads are in generally good condition with some surface wear
and one small hole on his left foot and a tear on his left wrist but no other damage
and he has three claw stitches on each paw and four on each foot pad with one
broken claw on one foot. He no longer has his label but the has the typical look
of a Chiltern bear from this era with a gentle, shy and expressive face
and he would make a lovely addition to any hug.
