Old antique vintage teddy bear. Old Vintage Teddy BearLionel is a cute, old 13 inch vintage teddy bear who has some age to him. His golden mohair has mostly worn away , having little coverage on his front , but slightly more on his back. Overall it is patchy.Lionel has amber and black glass eyes, one of which has cracked over his years, therefore he is bespectacled !! He has original stitched features and his paws are original rexine, though as you can see by the pictures they are quite worn. His limbs and head are jointed with good attachments but Herbert’s legs are a bit loose, and his head is a bit wobbly .Still he can be posed , and can sit up on his own quite comfortably. Lionel has a soft body which is kapok filled ,and wood wool in his head has that “crunchy” texture to it. He is a bear with a story to tell, and a sweet old fellow.Lionel has the look of a Deans or Pedigree bear, but unfortunately no labels attached to him. He has some age related marks to his body, giving him a bit of a grubby look in places, and a repair to his belly,..by some caring mother no doubt. Please see the photos as a further description.Lionel does show signs of age and love wear and is not intended to be used as a toy as he does not have safety features associated with modern teddy bears.
