This gorgeous bear is very collectable and was made by Alresford Crafts in England. This particular toy was made at The Town Mill which was the original location for the business so is likely to have been made in the 1970’s. He is a very special bear because he was designed with a flat bottom, (and floppy limbs), which makes it easy for him to bend his legs and sit down properly – style which Alresford Crafts claimed was unique at the time.
He really is a gorgeous bear with such an adorable expression on his face. He measures approx 21″ tall from ear to toe and 15″ tall in his sitting position. He is the scarce, chocolate brown colour and is well stuffed making him lovely to cuddle. He is in good condition, no fur loss or damage, with big bright eyes. A real opportunity to add an extra special vintage bear to your collection.
Please note the chair in the pic. does NOT come with the bear – it belongs to another bear, Colin, who does not want to part with it! (he did however loan it for the photo shoot for the small price of 10 jars of honey)
