Old Antique Vintage Teddy BearToffee is a dear old vintage antique teddy bear who is about 15 inches tall, and 11 inches seated. He has a whimsical face, full of charm and was most likely made by LeFray or Pedigree in the 1950s or early 60s.He has amber and black plastic eyes (not safety eyes) and a hand stitched nose and mouth.He is firmly filled throughout his head with straw and the rest of his body is soft filled.Toffee is fully jointed with good joint connections for his age. He has a good covering of caramel coloured plush overall but it is sparse and patchy in places ( especially around his tummy). The plush has variations in colour with deep amber to light honey coloured tones all over. All as may be expected for for an old vintage fellow.His paws are an off white /cream coloured silk plush and have worn a bit. He also has a growler in his tummy but his growling days are pretty much over. If you tap him gently on his back, you may get a little sound out of him.All in all Toffee has been well loved over his years, and has plenty more cuddles left in him. So if you are a lover of the quirky old teddy bears then maybe you can give him his new home.He is no longer suitable as a toy. He is a collectors item only.
