Old Antique Vintage Large Teddy BearGordon is a dear old vintage antique large teddy bear who is about 23 inches tall, and 16 inches seated. He has a quirky ,characterful face full of charm which is typical of a classic vintage bear from about the 1950sGordon has amber and black glass eyes, and a hand stitched nose and mouth. His nose has been stitched tight into his snout giving him a very distinguished look. He is firmly filled throughout his head with straw and has soft filled arms and legs, with a mixture of straw /soft filling to his body. His filling has shifted a bit where his head and neck joint are, but his head still sits nicely in place.He is fully jointed and has fairly good joint connections for his age, though they arent as tight as they used to be, poor old fellow! His head is a bit wobbly too.He has a good covering of golden mohair but there are patches , especially to his left side inner arm and leg (probably where he has been cuddled over the years). He has scooped arms and his paws are made of a cream/off white cotton plush which have worn.All in all Gordon has been well loved over his years, and has plenty more cuddles left in him. So if you are a lover of the larger old teddy bears maybe you can give him his new home.He is no longer suitable as a toy. He is a collectors item only.
