This listing is for a stunning Antique/Vintage Farnell Teddy bear from the 1930s. His Teddy is also included as I don’t want to part them! They are ideal for the collector that likes their bears in a clean and excellent hug ready condition.He is 20 inches tall and retains approx. 98% of his lovely fluffy blond mohair fur. There are a couple of tiny areas of thinning but overall he has a stunning amount of good quality soft fur. He is in excellent condition considering his age…..He is 5 way jointed and all joints move well and feel very secure. He has been very carefully cleaned and smells nicely of bear (no strong perfume smells) His fur can easily be combed and there are no areas of matted fur whatsoever. His paw pads are all original, they have a small amount of wear and his hand pads have two sympathetic repairs where they were reinforced inside to retain the original material, they are both nice and secure. His left foot pad has a couple of areas of wear but there are no holes and both are very secure. He has his original eyes which were made of glass and were painted on the backs but some of this has now worn off, both eyes feel very secure.His head, legs and arms are filled with kapok and his tummy is filled with a mixture of kapok and a little bit of wood wool (sounds a little crunchy in places) He has the most gorgeous upturned snout on a Farnell that I have ever seen! He has a lovely barrel shaped body and a hump on his back. He has all his nose and mouth stitching intact which I believe to be original but he does not have any claw stitching. He comes with his soft fur coat ( artificial fur) and hand knitted silk and wool cowl and his little ted comes with his hand matching hat and cowl. Little ted has also been thoroughly cleaned, I believe his fur is made from cotton plush, he has glass eyes and is five way jointed, all move well and feel secure. He has his original nose and mouth stitching. He is a little floppy but is in lovely condition. They will come carefully wrapped in a strong cotton drawstring bag and bubble wrapped, boxed and posted by Royal Mail next day 1pm special delivery with insurance to cover the full value.If you aren’t delighted with your bears you are welcome to return them to me for a full refund…(buyer pays return postage) They come from a smoke free home.These bears are for adult collectors only and are not considered suitable for young children due to safety considerations.Any questions please do ask and thanks for considering……..
