This listing is for a cute Chiltern Teddy bear from the 1930s
He is 12 inches long and retains a nice amount of lovely fluffy blond mohair fur. There is some thinning and sparse patches mostly under the muzzle and on his back please look at the photos, for his age not far off 90 years he is in excellent condition.
He is 5 way jointed and all joints move well and feel very secure. He has been very carefully cleaned and smells nicely of a clean teddy bear, no strong perfume smells, paw pads are in lovely condition, they are made of soft velveteen and the feet have cardboard inserts.He has all original nose, mouth and claw stitching intact.
The eyes are made of amber glass and feel nice and secure.His head is filled with wood wool or straw and his body with softer kapok.
This bear is for adult collectors only not suitable for young children
