Mortie | 19.5″ c1930’s Merrythought Teddy
“Mortie has the most adorable face, i love his tufty wavy mohair, his snuggly jumper and button!”
This is Mortie! He is an English ted made by Merrythought in the 1930’s. He measures around 19.5 inches tall and is fully jointed. He has had some loving mummy darning over the years and also wears his own snuggley jumper which has even been taken up and adjusted to fit him – lucky Mortie! He is covered in lovely wavy mohair and retains both his foot label and his button to his ear!
I feel he is a real cuddly happy poppet, sits nicely on your knee, and would make a perfect bear-st friend!
He enjoys his time outside while he waits, but also looks forward to the day he finds a new owner to make memories with. He’s shown with his wife Maeve who will be listed separately.
