This is the most lovely early Merrythought teddy bear. He measures18 inches in heigh and is in relatively good conditon save for bits and pieces of the mohair missing on his body. Plus he will need eyes as someone has embroidered them on. He is quite grubby which adds to the charm. His pads are in tact and the label Merrythought is still on the foot which reads Merrythought made in England. He has an inoperable squeaker in the front of his body. His arms are quite long and he appears to be stuffed with kapok. He is fully jointed,. He has one embroidered paw on each foot and his pads for the arms are made of material which of course are grubby. His nose is till sewn on with a few strands missing. He is adorable.
