Lovely mohair teddy bear dating from around 1920. Fully jointed. Height approx. 20 inches. He is unusual because of the colour of his fur. It was originally blue but has faded in some areas to grey. It is much brighter on his back and legs. The mohair is quite sparse in places. Please study the photographs. Many years ago his paw and foot pads have been covered over with white silk material, this is starting to wear in places. His nose stitching is coming away and needs attention (it may not be original). The stitching from one ear is also coming away. When gently shaken his growler can be heard rattling around inside him, alas it no longer works. He has a few old stitches to the front of his chest.
I have listed his faults but he really is a lovely bear. Very solid for a bear of almost a hundred! Please ask any questions you may have.
