Large 24″ German Bear circa 1918
This is a lovely old 24″ German boy from around 1918 with a superb long snout that gives him a Bing look though I don’t think he is a Bing. He is however a very sturdy chap being solidly stuffed with wood wool and with a lovely large non working growler. His pads have been replaced at some time in his long life as I think have his eyes which are clear glass. He has some wear to his short bristly mohair mainly in the places expected although he must retain approximately 60% overall. His nose is partly original with some stitching added and he has a few small repairs to the side of his snout. He still has plenty of good years ahead though and will come wearing his gorgeous antique cream coat.No reserve.
