A wonderful old bear who, before coming to me, had had one owner all her life – this lady sadly passed on but had had her since a child and called her Katy Kitten – she was then neglected for a period before coming to me. Katy is a wonderful 17 inch Chiltern and before I start I need to stress she is far from perfect and has issues. She is fully jointed and a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker. She has all of her original velvet pads which show varying degrees of wear – the feet are card lined dating her as an earlier Chiltern – some claw stitching remains but not all of it. As you can see Katy has lost a lot of mohair and has had various stitched repairs to leg, arm and main body. She also has a stitched repair to her muzzle which I have pictured – her eyes look to be old replacements. Katy needs a loving home and somewhere to sit quietly and watch the world go by – she has been in the wars and is not perfect so please be well aware of this before bidding – she is a bear who definitely needs tlc. However, if you want a bear chock full of character and charm you will love her – she will come as pictured in her pretty dress & ribbon xxx
