Interesting mohair wind up mechanical toy – Old Antique / Vintage Teddy Bear
Interesting old mechanical bear. He measures just over 6.5 inches tall. Although he is missing his winder key, if you use pliers to wind him he is fully working. He moves his head up and down .. up and down .. up and down to his hands, and kind of shakey moves around with a fabulous clattering noise of the mechanics!!
He has a firm papier mache type body with formed ears, and a seam down his face with lovely bright auburn mohair, original glass eyes and lovely original metal nose.
He’s a curious boy .. maybe with some research someone will be able to locate who made him! He’s just hoping for a happy home!
